I missed this post being the last on the page. Nice trucks! It's trucks like this that I came up with loving and owning, and it was Stepsides all the way up to '72 that fit in this group. I never had an F100, though. I really got stung by the bug seeing trucks like this tooling around the NW when I came out there in the '70s. I couldn't roll into Eureka without seeing a few, even back to '40 Fords. They were everywhere. In the mid-70s guys were letting them go to get a 4wd. They could be had for very reasonable money

I did some custom flashing work at my friend Bill's house. He has a shop at his house and is a Ford guy. He has a clean '55 F100, but it was inside under the cover that day. His buddy stopped by in his Effie and I snapped this shot from the roof
