I called GM, and they said those things were added during the model run after my truck was built. If I recall correctly, the build date they gave me was toward the end of the second week of December, 1968. The actual date may have been Friday Dec. 12. My truck was produced about 800 before another Fremont truck (9Z833902) on your list with the 12/5/1969 build sheet. Any estimate of what the lag time is between build sheet issuance to actual build, or how many trucks were built per day?

I think you can guess on the # built per day number for approx. provided you have a range to work with. For instance I'm not sure the build month on my C20, but there's enough data here to show very much
approx. 6k Fremont per month during the period. So far it's enough to know the truck was built in Feb. or Mar. 72. Nice to see you first, been a while.
Edit, at another glance with an additional VIN added for 1972, looks closer to 7kish per month for Freemont. My 72 was likely given birth in March 72, still can't say for sure.
