I have a suggestion for you - make sure you have your wiper transmission installed right (for the correct wiper rotation and parking) before you put on the blades. I had mine on wrong the first time and had to pull the wiper arms back off (which is not easy if you don't have the tool) and scratched my cowl in the process.

I have seen this and looked at several threads about it. I wish I had turned it on before I put the cowl on so I could verify the pictures I used as a tutorial were correct. I will turn them on before installing the wipers though...thanks. I'm hoping it all doesn't have to come back apart.

1971 C10 Stepside. LSx 6.0 with BTR Stage IV, Speed Engineering Headers, 4L80e transmission w/3200 Circle-D Stall. 3.73. Posi. Purchased this truck when I was 17. I started the rebuild (or take apart) in 1993. I have drug it around all over the country in pieces. Finally back on the road in 2021.
