Come to think of it, I was alerted to something yesterday that's somewhat useless, and it's completely useless too, so bonus....

I learned a heater core takes a gasket where it fits inside the heater box, and what's most useless about it is the gasket sold in at least one kit are completely useless. Probably because nobody cares?, if so useless information to the power of 2.

I didn't know they took a gasket. Since I was there I used 3M strip caulk, which is useful stuff, breaking thread code.

Seems a heater core gasket is somewhat useless, though I suppose some cushion helps.
