I made a little crate stand out of 2x4' s and put the engine on the bellhousing flange standing on end today. The crank looks cast you can see the little parting line like a thin flash area. The rod caps are boogered up and half off.

I think this engines gonna get a forged crank and a set of refurbished rods.
