Re: where was your truck originally sold?
My 1972 Cheyenne Super was built in Flint April of 72, and sold by Allen Cook Chevrolet-Buick in East Texas, at 311 E. Coke Road (Texas Farm-to-Market Road 515) in Winnsboro.
From what I've found online, AC also sold ambulance conversions in the 60's.
She spent her whole life in Texas, and is a rust free survivor, just 47k on the clock, numbers matching and 90% original paint. Now she enjoys the sunshine in FL.
