I have seen this done to narrow track width for big wheels. Was that part of your math in the build?
It has me contemplating doing it on my coming crossmember swap. As my 17x9's are a touch wide, and if I brought them in a 1/4 that would be nice.
Does removing all the shims have a effect on performance? Or did you do it for esthetics?
