Re: '49 Suburban Spotted in Pismo Beach - NIIICE!

mr48chev,

As I write this I JUST sat down after driving over 8 hours from Auburn, CA on our way home. We took a secondary trip after Pismo to see my girlfriend's sister who just had surgery.

Anyway, You're right that you can't really "feel" the Fiat but I have a rear facing camera which I keep on all the time. The monitor changes to the side cameras when using the signals so I have to put it back on the rear view. I'm just a little paranoid something will hit it or cause a problem that I won't know/feel. The only thing I notice is that climbing the Grapevine coming south I had to drop down as low as 50mph for a very short time and the V10 was spinning just under 4000rpm. But later I got it up to 60mph and the trans upshifted and engine was turning about 2700rpm. No heat issues, nothing. I wonder when I tow my fat ass Gladiator how it will go?!
