Thanks for the explanations. I towed our little fiat 500 6300 miles round trip in 2019 with no noticeable ill effects. I plan on towing my 2020 jeep gladiator long distances at some point in the future. It is an automatic but the rv sites all say to tow it in drive but with the transfer case in neutral.
