Went to do a little mowing yesterday. Had a runaway throttle. Took the carb off and saw this. (or lack of this) Pulled the head, knowing those screws went somewhere.
Throttle plate was safe and sound in the intake. No damage to the cylinder. Both valves and seats are fine. They past my hokey leak down test. All de-carboned, cleaned up awaiting new head gasket, plug, and the all important throttle shaft screws. 17yrs something was bound to happen!
