Now we are trying to remove all the old glue and trying to prepare the surface for the new overlay. The residual glue is being very stubborn. We have removed about 80% of the old glue with soap and water and "Goo Gone". Of course we don't want to use anything that is harsh and will damage the plastic. We would welcome any ideas you might have to get this completely ready for the overlay install. Any other suggestions on what we can do to insure a good installation?
My question is, was the overlay applied at the factory to a standard bezel? Or are the woodgrain bezels different? If not then you should hypothetically be able a new overlay to a non woodgrain bezel
