Op said he put in a Edelbrock carb...I just showed him the trans stud I used for the kickdown cable I see in his pic
Assuming the ball stud in his pic no longer fits in the slot end of his cable
There is a variety of ball and slot studs that may work. Some may require slight enlarging of the hole in carb lever
My accelerator rod fitting worked on my Eddy. Not seeing what OP has but my pic shows how both accelerator and Kickdown are attached to the Eddy carb
