And the day arrived, time to cut a humongous hole in the new Camaro floor. Took the shifter apart some so I can use the mounting plate as a template. Thoughts are an opening that's just big enough to mount and service the shifter from above but no larger. After some smaller cuts and some shaping of the opening, it’s getting there. Ha, I’ll tell ya, I’ve seen some really bad openings cut for these shifters.
