Wide tires, taller tires, and the offset of wheels are reduced turning radius. So when you lowered your truck you may have done one of the following mods too.
Often times drop spindles increase track width. Which again can reduce turning radius.
A drift truck I read about. Ground down the spindle stops, used a longer pitman arm off the box, and idler arm. Increase turning angle thus increase turning radius.
