Based on the model number it was just a cab/chassis- an upfitter would put on a dump bed or tanker on the back.
CE56803=
C = conventional cab (S for school bus chassis, T for tilt cab)
E = V8
5= C50 series
68= 108" cab to axle (this would be '18' if it was a Chevy)
03= cab except full air brakes
