You need different rockers and valve covers for the vortec heads in addition to the manifold. Also arent they 58 cc chambers instead of 64 cc? Even with flattops that would put your compression well over 10:1. Theyre good heads but the motor must be built for them.
I'd probably trade you for my 72cc chamber sportsman II's but I'd have to change pistons too and my ratating assy is all balanced and it would screw that up.
