Im sorry to hear that you had to experience the same ordeal, its not fun at all. Luckily we were given time, and I think that has helped quite a bit. Yes, that photo is him. That was after we found a super cherry old bench from a '72 Suburban to put in my old '70. 50 bucks on eBay in 2016 and it was only 1 hour from me!
