I went with the same radiator and hose combo and learned the same lesson on the 3 core vs 4 core brackets. But while looking at your pics, it looks like you were able to stretch the top hose onto the radiator, no problem. Did you use something to stretch the hose? I wrestled with mine for a while but feel like I gave up too soon and ended up with an adapter that I hate the aesthetics of.
