Re: Any early square body 1 ton Napco trucks out there?

I had a '74 C30 that was converted to 4x4 by the previous owner.
454 with a Predator carb, 4 speed, NP205, D44 Tru-trac front, D60 Detroit rear, 4.56 gears, and a really grippy metallic puck-style clutch. The guy originally built it to do truck pulls at county fairs, so it had smaller tires when I got it. 35" Ground Hawgs.
I traded for a set of 40" Regul Trailblazers. Of all weird things it had 15" wheels, you 8 lug 15s. The only reason it worked was the offset of the Jackman wheels.
The more common American Racing wheels on the back would not fit the front.
It was badass, but couldn't pass a gas station. Good thing that it was right around $1 back then.
Sadly, this is the only pic I still have of it.

The great thing about being a pessimist is that you are either pleasantly surprised or right.
