Re: parking brake
What is the capacity of that linear actuator?
most hand / foot brakes have 4 or 5 to 1 ratio and it doubles again under the truck for many GMs that have the lever arm where the 2 brake cables come together
I found a NHTSA brake test procedure that specified the max park brake force allowed for a pass in their test of holding on a 20% grade : 90 pounds for hand brake, 112 pounds for foot brake. So the linear pull under the car will be in the 400-800 pound range for most vehicles.
