And don't expect it to be a quick heal. I was unable to do the more physical stuff for almost a year after my rotator cuff surgery.
I think the more you do the recovery process right, the better your chances of getting close to 100% use of that arm. Most guys I know estimate they got around 80%. (Knowing them though, they were poor patients. ;-)
