It should be tucked in and fit snugly . Doors are not water tight to begin with hence they have drain holes at the bottom . I worked on these trucks when they were fairly new and skinned many doors . Always tucked the rubber in with a paint stick and rubber lube the flap that tucks in stops wind from going under the rubber and making noise
