These pads - theyre made of rubber (kind of looks like recycled tires) and are supposed to keep noise from the bed sitting directly on the frame. I will have to see how my body lines react, because if they don't seem to like it I will be ditching them and running without. I have read some of the CSTs came with them, and some guys used them to keep bed bolts tight if they frequent rough or rocky roads where the bolts may vibrate loose.
