As a young man I ran businesses. I liked it. Then I went to work for govt. making the conscious decision to remain as far away from their bureaucrat ways as possible, which meant I wasn't in-charge of anyone. If you think employees in private sector are whiney, ha.

That said, I imagine the medical industry has its challenges where employees are concerned. Choose what makes you happiest.
