I just picked up a nice 76 Chevrolet Heavy's tri-fold brochure..also the 1977 70-90 series service manual.
Some neat old information Ill try to scan or photo and post the brochure.

It actually reads that the Detroit Diesel 6V53 was not available in California ...

.. go figure..

Just another reason to love em' ...
