Just found a piece of the glass setting tape that I had ordered and tried to use that was WAY TOO thick it measures .070. The bicycle inner tube that I had bought and ended up using was .032 thick, worked well. It was the largest diameter tube Wal-Mart had for a mountain bike or 10speed cant remember.
(I had posted earlier that the tape was .032 and too thick but I was remembering wrong)
