Did you make it right? You reimbursed what it cost us to have it fixed locally, because we had to have it fixed locally after you only wanted us to pay for a new filler neck.

Was it worth the hassle of what it took to get you to finally “make it right”? No.

The fact that you edited your warranty to get around being liable for what should’ve been an obvious manufacturing error *after* we emailed about the problem is the problem here. You’ve never acknowledged that any of that was wrong, and that’s a major red flag. The amount of effort you put into getting out of making it right is the problem.

So yes, you “made it right” if sending a check to cover our cost of having it fixed locally is considered “making it right”. Owning up to and apologizing for dirty dealing would be appropriate in regaining the trust of anyone reading all of this.
