As for as the dropping the cab i lowered the mounts on the frame 1". nothing hit exept for the firewall to floor seam, i just notched that.

As for the frame i would use 2x4x3/16" for the whole frame, that way theres room under the cab and frame andyou wont have to notch the seam.
