That is very unfortunate. Even a knuckledragger like myself... I am a product of technology and resort to phone orders only after I've exhausted all my online research.
I can remember calling in orders on the rotary phone in my dad's shop to P.A.W. or to the local speed shop. Then staying on the line with the sales rep for an hour BSing about cars and drag racing.
Then there were "Super Shops"... I learned to avoid those places as the sales cats worked on commission. They pushed certain brand name parts and made you feel guilty about not using them.
Lots of cool new sparkly high performance parts... but tools worked behind the counters at most stores. Best part about them was that you could get stuff from the likes of Crower, Stef's or Rhoades over the counter.
