Re: Led brake lights?

I've got some LED strip lights like these for a trailer I am building. I got them because I wanted to have bright stop/turn lights that I could put in the channel iron frame of the trailer where they would be somewhat protected.

The only things I am going to ask or say is that =

Will you still think that what ever light you french in the posts still look good five years from now or will they look like out of date mods?

If you are one who doesn't tend to keep his rigs long after he finishes them will they help resale or be something that is a turn off for potential buyers. For resale usually keeping it simple helps it sell better.

Will the mod be a contributing component of the total look of the truck and blend in with all other mods or will it stick out and demand extra attention from the rest or the truck before your eye sees the whole truck as a unit. Lights at least the wrong lights for the build can have that stuck on as and afterthought real quick. Remember all of those poor 53/56 F100 trucks that used to run around with 65 Mustang tail lights stuck in the rear fenders.

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
