Re: My 1970 GMC Project

Got a little bit of free time last night and made it into the shop. I've been quite busy lately with a side job I've been working with a buddy. Once that is completed, I'm hoping to be back on this thing a little more regularly with winter setting in. I also ended up hacking up my hand pretty good at the side job so I had about 3 weeks of taking it easy while that healed. I'm going to include a picture of my hand so if you don't like that sort of thing, proceed with caution.

Last night I decided that I will build my own bucket seat brackets so I squared up off the bench seat holes and drilled for the inner rear seat mounts. I also made a fuel filler delete plate and got that welded up. Soon I'll be removing the front body panels from the truck and getting ready for rockers and cab corners.
