Re: pdx-sanity66

OK Sanity's Eaton Tru-trac project is done. I got the pinion torqued to spec, the Eaton installed and shimmed to spec, the axles installed, and the brake drums and wheels put on. I got Sanity off of the jack stands and got it started. So I backed it out of the shop and drove it around my yard a bit and it seems to be working great. Sanity will get a real test when I get the front end alignment done. I am so happy things worked out and I can put rear differential rebuild on my "things I've for the first time on this build" list.
But right now I'm on my way to Vegas for a week to party down and listen to some great music at the Big Blues Bender Festival which is for the most part all indoors. We're leaving in the morning. The drive is about 7 hours. I just hope we don't get in any monsoon rains on the way.
