The Montana plates would have been issued in 1963, they were silver with black lettering. In 1964 they would have a 64 expiration tag in the lower right hand corner. So the plate itself would be stamped in 63, then in 64 it should have the expiration tag of that year. I am looking for a matching pair. With these plates being a natural aluminum finish, they are not easily restored. So I am looking for a nice set. Thanks for asking.
