As long as you don't mind bumpy idle your golden. I do agree, go with a roller cam for reliability

What did you end up putting on it for a carb? I was planning on the 350/357 base for my project but i am having a hard time deciding whether to put an Edelbrock Proflo4 on it or a carb?
