I went the hydraulic rollers for exactly the same reason, and I was also shooting for power numbers similar to my Duramax, but with a little more horsepower. Here are my lifters, and I made 525bhp @ 5500 rpm and 585 ft/lb at 3900 rpm. on a 462 ci platform. I figured I would rarely be over 5000 rpm on the street anyway.
