I never heard that but I'm surprised it doesn't say Ford chassis and Chevy body. Chevy consistently made the best looking trucks and the myth I've often heard through the years was "Ford builds a better truck". So I'd think they'd (people who believe that) say use the Ford chassis.
Anyway, these are old trucks people buy now just as cool vehicles to drive. So they are all good if that's what you like
