Re: New member

We usually take the route of not deleting old posts, no matter how old they are. For one reason, it deletes member's contribution to the board over the years. It would be a lot of work to delete every post in the for sale section after it's a couple years old. There's also the rare occasion where someone was selling a part, no one bought it, and it's been sitting in the garage for 3 years under another part. While cleaning up, the seller finds the part, goes to find the sale post to update it, but can't find it because it was deleted. Now they have to start a new thread for the same part instead of just bumping the original one up to the top.
