Truly wrestling a gorilla. We did the install on my kid’s Jimmy. His truck had the chrome trim and we wanted to keep it. Ordered a new Precision gasket. We wrestled, wrangled, pushed, pulled, taped and cursed for a good long time. We had bought a ‘69 donor truck for the front clip and it also had the chrome trim. What I learned from that is there are two different lengths of the tab on the back that fits the trim and the gasket they sent us was for the ‘69 trim and NOT the ‘72 trim. Once we decided to use the other trim, we were able to get it installed. It was still a fight, but we did it.
