I have installed about 25-30 cage kits from 5 or more companies, never have I seen the floor plates pre welded. As far as the support pieces not having the angle cut, again it is common to notch and trim your tubes for a perfect fit to your truck. If you would like a refund just send me a PM. No problem at all.
