One of the things about my car that drove me nuts... the capture nuts! They rust behind the trim piece and just look bad. Not really noticable, but I saw them everytime I washed the car and there's no need for rust on my car!

It's a pain to remove the fender splash guard so I used some tape and a really thin screwdriver and they pop right out.

...then you can see the aftermath... not pretty.

However... it wipes right off once the rusty capture nuts are removed and the trim pieces are out.
