Curious.... What is the materials cost for each 'prototype' created? I've wondered about this since people started posting their potential creations.

This prototype uses about 500g of filament (each half is about 248g). The material I'm using right now is PLA Pro and it's about $42.00 per 1kg, so it means this prototype will cost about $21.00 to print.
I used it because it was already loaded in the machine, but I can get PLA that is of a lower quality, which means it won't be as strong and it'll warp at a lower temp, but is fine for prototyping, for about $18.99 for 1kg, so I could get the prototype print cost down to about $9.50. Each half takes about 10 hours on the printer to create.
