Are you using the rusty metal primer on bare metal or just scuffing and hitting it? Curious as I am using some of the same products but have not used the rusty metal primer yet.

I just picked up some rustoleum primer and semi gloss black to shoot out of my paint gun on my trailer. It's a very forgiving job as I just want it covered and don't care if I get a few runs or imperfections here and there. In a matter of months there will be plenty of imperfections anyway.
