The windstar fans fit the champion radiator pretty good out of the box. I chose to keep the original mounting tabs, and to weld some bosses to the tanks of the radiator to hold the fans in place. I had my son tig weld the bosses in place, as I never learned to tig weld, or to weld aluminum.
I did use a heat gun and a large socket to form the area by the upper radiator hose a bit better, and provide a little more clearance. Then a little notch for the drain plug, and a little trim on the mounting tabs. And that’s about it, they fit pretty good.

Next I need to finish more wiring, I don’t enjoy wiring at all, but it needs to be done.
