The last bbc I put together I used an ARP fuel rod. They are lighter than stock and alot stronger. I'd recommend one for replacement when the time comes. They don't cost much more than a stock rod. As long as you have a stout fuel pump. Otherwise they can be too light and you might experience rod float at high rpms. Either way your going to need a new one, just thought I'd throw my experience in there for an idea. Let us know how you get it out!
