Yes, I am 100% sure. I even just went outside to double check both my trucks. The codes are the same for all GM trucks.

Both my Silverado and S-10 have the GT4 code, 3.73.

What you said makes sense, here's what I found from an S-10 forum. For the 2.2L reg cabs, the 5spd got a 3.73 and the auto trucks got the 4.11.
