"I bought a $100 scan tool, no idea how to make it show RPM. hot power to the coils, and both the battery and ignition pins on the PCM. ohm'd all the wires on the crank sensor. 12V to it. ohm'd the coil grounds and all the individual ignition wires, as well as the reference wire to each coil. Even went so far as to replace the crank sensor just in case. Still no spark!” ”

We wired the OBD2 port, hooked up a scan tool and got no engine codes. then out of desperation we tore into the Side of the motor and replaced the crank position sensor.
