I wasn't doubting you were having clearance problems. It certainly is odd that Headman wouldn't have corrected that. I've never used the Elites but I thought that's what the ones I haven't used yet were. But those are 4wd, so must just be 2wd header fitment issues. I don't recall ever reading about fitment problems here. Lots of clutch linkage and ground clearance threads. I haven't been shopping, so not reading reviews. Not sure why you'd bring up 4wd engine position. Your truck is a C/10, right? The main purpose of my post was to clarify that ALL V8s in 2wds came with engine towers in the forward position. The rear position is the 6cyl location in 2wds.
