I for one still like a nicely painted old truck. And I was the only loving them aged as is long before the masses knew the word patina. I love the worn but functional factor. I like my cotton clothing once it shows some fade, always have. Brand new shoes look awkward for me. Sock? Brand spanking new is great!! (underwear, too) . But as trucks age they deserve a respectable paint job. I always figured my patina trucks would eventually get paint. Paint comes last for me. Funny that the fad came about with guys saying it was because a paint job has gotten so expensive. But now we see patina trucks going for $25-35k and beyond. Seems money for a paint job could squeeze in there somewhere
