Yesterday was a total fail trying to get the curved part of the gasket to seat, so I changed up, and attacked it from the gasket end, hoping the curve will fall in place,which it did. Most of the curve is in place, just have to change up the tool as it is too wide to seat the gasket in the curved area

This clamp was invaluable in keeping gasket in place
My plan is to let the windex dry, and grind down an old screwdriver and try tomorrow
