I just referred to the youtube gurus. Mostly the Gibson63 videos.

Ended up with this, so far.

The rear brace is too wide at the back where the flange folds over, I had to scribe and grind it back to get it to line up reasonably well.

I left the old skin and flange in place to help align the brace, but I messed up with the new skin somewhere and the edge along the door isn't straight. I'll have to grind it back and weld it to fix the door gap. I'm learning the hammer and dolly, trying to get the accessible part of the panel smooth. It's trial and error for sure. I know everyone says the reproduction fenders are bad, but man, I have a lot of time into this patch and I still don't feel great about it.

The fender closing panels were totally rotten too so I placed an order for those along with new seals and clips tonight. I need to fix the door gap and finish bending the lip around on this fender, then I can start on the other one.

Thanks man. Compared to this fender, that was easy!
